Rated 2 out of 5 by Stop changing your products!! I understand that feedback from consumers forces you to upgrade/alter your products. That's business, right? However, you need to know that not all of your customers are small framed and size 6!! I have been a faithful consumer of Kotex products for some 35 years. Even though the maxis were not perfect, they were still better for me than any other brand. I am large boned and suffer from heavy flow with severe clotting. You had finally gotten the long maxi and overnight pad right in the last few years!!! They provided security and were thick enough and long enough without being bulky and uncomfortable. This U line is not working for many of us who need the thickness of the maxi!! Yes there are women who want and can get away with wearing an absorbant, thin pad. So make a thin pad for them but leave the option of a thicker pad in the long and overnight version for those who need it!! November 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love, love, love! I have uterine fibroids which for me result in extremely heavy periods to include clots. This is the best maxi on the market! I use the overnight Maxi and this pad can stand up to even the heaviest flow with absolutely no leaks. I have a large frame and the extra length of this pad provides added security. I highly recommend it as it is the only brand for me. September 23, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Are You listening yet? Long time user... Yes the pad has a soft comfortable cover, and we hope it remains that wayrather than changing that one great trait you still offer on the next update. The feedback over the last 2 years, and the percentage (31%) that would recommendthis product, reflects the title of this review, the question, are you listening yetand what is in the works to improve the flawed points put forth here time after time.I too, have had issues with the adhesive being overly strong and actually ruining somerather expensive panties, and leaving adhesive stripes/damage where the adhesive wasremoved, which also as most feedback reflects, this adhesive strength, does not matchthe pads overall strength, from start to finish.Reducing the adhesive to match the padI don't think would be the answer, as we don't want the pad slipping or bunching. But since I've experienced several issues with the pad ruining some really nice undiesa look into the overly adhering adhesive, as well as how the cover is molded onto therest of the pad would certainly be a big step in the right direction, of increasing the strength of the pad, and the satisfaction of the loyal as well as the potential customer. Many of your reviewers (and I read them all) want a thicker pad.I am in that group, and feel the new 3D pads that are thinner have their placeand would be the proper answer to those who want the thinner pads. However, since a pad is not a one size fits all product, those of us who prefer a thickerstronger, yet soft and comfortable cover that holds up, really want our productthat you have the ability to provide.I've used your products since the days of the belted pads, heck I still have an old beltI just never threw away. I know some great changes have come along since those daysbut now, the reduction in production cost is pushing the bigger percentage of yourcustomers away to other brands. In closing, if the issues are corrected, it would be beneficial, both for Kotex and potentialreturning customers to see and hear that, in all forms of advertising. I rarely see a Kotexor Stayfree commercial anymore on TV, so we need to see it on display in the isle wherewe are 1st and foremost presented with other options to Kotex.I've experienced avery change this pad has had since it was providedand feel this is the worst offering in its history. You're already providing 2 productsfor the same level of production, why not accommodate those who prefer one of themthe way they're asking and pleading for you to, while still offering the newer Ultra Thin3D for those ladies who prefer that. We feel and see that you are forcing us to go in adirection that we are not choosing. Thanks for being there. Please don't discontinue this product. Are you listening and doing yet? September 23, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by not happy After using you product for many years and spending lots of money . The pad is not the same it breaks apart and trust me i change very often, this should not happen at all on a good note im glad you double packs now as for me i need to buy at least 3 every month and as you could imagin how expensive that is and to have them fall apart is not exceptable to me go back to the old way you were making them and maybe make them a little longer i thank you for taking the time to read this email September 20, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by These are Terrible Now I have used Kotex since my very first period. They were always great, no leaks and they stayed secure. I never had a problem but now they are terrible. Ever since you removed the Aloe and Vitamin E from them, they seem to fall apart. I change my pad frequently and every time it seems like they are coming apart at the seam. I end up with cotton everywhere. On top of that, my girl-bits are red and inflamed. This was never an issue before. Seems like now in addition to the bloating, fatigue, and irritability from my period, I can look forward to having a rash from these pads. I have tried using diaper creams to counter whatever is causing this issue, but it doesn't work. I am going to have to switch brands.I have read the other reviews. If you have so many customers having the same problem, don't you think is it time to rethink these changes? September 19, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by What Happened?! I have been using this product for more than 20 years and LOVED it-you were the only brand I bought. However, recently I have noticed that the outer layer tears, sending clumps of cotton all over the place. Since I have a very heavy flow and wear these all day as well as at night, it's very discouraging. Whatever changed you have made, PLEASE STOP. I miss my old, wonderful pads. I do NOT love having used pad interior falling all over my underwear, clothing, and bathroom floor. August 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I like them a lot I find them comfortable and easy to wear. I don't have to worry I'll bleed thru or over them. I've only ever used kotex.. My mom uses the same ones and we love them. My first pad was a kotex and I haven't stopped using this brand. Even after 11 or so years these are my go to for my heavy flow. August 17, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE NEW QUALITY I have been using this product for years and never had a complaint. They have always held up great and offered great protection. Now over the last month or so maybe two I have noticed that the break down of the pad itself is horrible. They protecting outerlayer tears and leaves cotton everywhere including in places that it should not be. How embarrassing to use a public restroom and when you pull your drawers down it goes everywhere all over the floor and your clothes and under the stall to the neighbors! GROSS! Not to mention the mess at home it leaves and you have to sweep every time you use the restroom. THIS should not be this way! They have never been this way before! What changed and WHY?? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring the old ones back. I am 45 years old and have experienced with many diff brands and thought I finally had found the right one for me and now I am at a loss and back to experimenting with other companies. Please review what you changed and change it back. Thank you! July 26, 2015
